Student Properties
If you have found a property you would like to apply for, please get in touch and we will send you an application form. This can be completed either digitally or in paper format.
Upon submission of the application form, together with a valid form of identification, we will request a holding deposit of £50.00.
Following receipt of your application, we will prepare the tenancy agreement, which can be signed either digitally or in paper format. We ask that the tenancy agreement is signed within 15 days of the application form being submitted.
Once the tenancy agreement has been signed by all parties, a further payment of £150.00 will be due. This payment is rent in advance and, together with the £50.00 holding deposit, will be credited towards your first month’s rent, giving you a total credit of £200.00.
After your signed tenancy agreement has been received, a guarantor form will be sent to your nominated guarantor by either email or post. We ask that this is completed and returned within 7 days, together with a valid form of identification. Once received, we will carry out the guarantor reference checks. Subject to these being satisfactory, everything will then be in place for key collection.
Residential Properties

Upon submission of the application form, a holding deposit equivalent to one week’s rent is required to reserve the property whilst Lettings First Plymouth Ltd undertakes referencing and the pre-tenancy process.
Once the tenancy agreement has been signed by all parties, a further payment equivalent to three weeks’ rent will become payable. Together with the holding deposit, this will make a total tenancy deposit equivalent to 28 days’ rent, which will be protected in an approved tenancy deposit protection scheme.

Upon the agreed move in, the first months’ rent will be required prior / upon the key collection.
